Judy Collins' recording of Amazing Grace was first released in 1970. Half a century ago. In a very different world. In 2020, remarkably, it's back with us again. First there was a Facebook video filmed from a house in Coronavirus lockdown near London's Charing Cross Hospital, in which Judy Collins' Amazing Grace is heard, as if by magic, as a thank you to hospital workers. That video has had millions of views already.
